9x18 inch Black Picture Frame, Style P375 with 3/8 inch Wide Molding

Our picture frames are custom-made at our Spencer MA facility using our exclusive Quadro Frames molding system. The moldings are extruded to our specifications using ABS plastic with a metallized mylar finish, providing a high-quality look similar to metal frames but at a lower cost. The backing panels are made of 0.10 inch thick MDF, not cheap cardboard, while the front panels are constructed from 0.040" thick optically clear PET plastic with a protective film.

When assembling your frame, be sure to remove the protective film from both sides of the plastic panel. The frame dimensions refer to the panels, ensuring that media of the specified size will fit perfectly. The external dimensions of the frame are slightly larger than the nominal size, with the visible image size being slightly smaller due to the overlap of the moldings over the panels.

The side-loading moldings can accommodate media up to 3/16 inches thick, providing space for an image as well as a standard matte board. All components are manufactured with the highest tolerances to ensure a seamless fit and finish. Assembly is required but is simple, involving snapping four corner connectors onto the moldings without the need for tools.

The frames are designed to hang from the corner connectors, which feature an arc-shaped sawtooth pattern for easy leveling adjustment. These classic contemporary style frames are ideal for framing a wide range of images with a professional gallery look. The frame kits include a backing panel, facing panel, molding set, and concealed corner connectors for easy assembly and hanging.

The moldings are 3/8 inches wide ABS plastic with a metallized mylar finish, providing a sleek look that mimics metal. Designed for 9x18 inch images, the outer dimensions of the frame are 9.375x18.375 inches, with a visible size of 8.25x17.25 inches. The total frameable thickness, including the image and optional matte, is 3/16 inch. Assembly is required for these gallery-style frames, but the high precision components allow for quick and tool-free assembly.
